The above illustration of the beret badge for 44 Airborne Brigade Parachute Signal Regiment shows a grey metal eagle and wings configuration, which is the standard badge of the Brigade for all arms within it. Underneath the badge can be seen the Signals Balkie bar as was used by all the different Regiments and Corps of the Brigade in their own right.

As with many Commonwealth countries this badge is worn on the famous "Red Beret" and is highly prized by it's wearer.
