QUEEN'S GURKHA SIGNALS.

OFFICERS – GILT AND SILVER PLATE

 1954 – CURRENT

To the best of my knowledge and unless things have changed since the Royal Gurkha Signals left Hong Kong for the last time when the colony reverted back to the People’s Republic of China in 1997. Officers of the Regiment have had three different makes of cap badge to wear on different types of head dress.

The above version is a Gilt and Silver Plate version which is worn on the No 1 Dress Blue Forage cap.

The second is a Bi-Metal version of the same badge, which is worn on the Officer’s Service Dress cap.

The third badge that the Officers of the Regiment have,  is the Bullion version which is worn on  the Ordnance issue blue beret.

All three badges are displayed on this site.
