In keeping with many other countries who's Officer Corps had the opportunity of using a Bullion cap badge when wearing a beret. The Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals had the above illustration cloth and bullion badge which I believe was worn on a green beret.

These badges were an unofficial appendage but proved to be very popular and indeed are still used today.
